Fiberfrax Durablanket S. This insulation is a strong, lightweight, flexible needled blanket that is made from spun ceramic fibers. Available in a wide range variety of thicknesses, widths, and densities, Durablanket S insulation provides an array of proven solutions for a broad spectrum of application problems.
Fiberfrax Durablanket 2600. This insulation is made from high-purity alumina, zirconia, and silica-spun ceramic fibers. Its chemical composition is achieved through a unique fiber manufacturing process that allows the materials to remain unchanged (low shrinkage) at extremely high temperatures.
Fiberfrax Duraback Blanket. This strong, lightweight, flexible needled blanket is ideal for use as a cost-effective backup insulation in Fiberwall® furnace linings. It is recommended for use in applications of up to 1800°F (982°C). It can be installed up to four times faster than common block-type backup insulation.
Fibermax Needled Blanket. This high-temperature, lightweight, and flexible product is manufactured from polycrystalline mullite fiber that can be exposed to temperatures up to 2912°F (1600°C). Fibermax Needled Blankets contain no organic binders or other additives that cause off-gassing fumes or associated
problems.
In addition to exhibiting excellent resistance to most corrosive agents, Fibermax Needled Blanket also resists oxidation and reduction and is virtually free from shot (unfiberized particles). Fibermax is ideal for use in environments where the presence of shot is undesirable. Its low shot content results in a product with extremely low thermal conductivity, and its unique fiber layup and needling process provide Fibermax Needled Blanket with outstanding consistency, handling strength, and resiliency at elevated temps.
